In an effort to give an opportunity to the recovering drug responders and their families to use their own skills to earn a living in a decent way, the city government under the administration of Mayor Oscar Moreno, through the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) distributed additional financial assistance to 17 barangays with active Community-Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP) during Monday's flag-raising ceremony at city hall.
This is also in line with the reactivation of the Monthly Tabo 2019 today at city hall mini-park for the responders of the Community-Based Rehabilitation Aftercare Program.
City Councilor and CADAC co-chairman Romeo Calizo, City Councilor Jay Pascual, Acting City Administrator Teddy Sabuga-a and Office for Community Affairs chief Oliver Egypto led the distribution of certificates of assistance to CBRP managers. (ALR/Photos by Nic Anches)
